FRESHMAN BASEBALL VICTORY

St. George's School Defeated 6 to 2 at Newport on Saturday.

The Freshman baseball team defeated St. George's School at Newport on Saturday by the score of 6 to 2. The Freshman team played well, in spite of the fact that they were crippled by the loss of four of their regular men--Clark, Fripp, Mahan and Whitney. The team got only six hits, but they were all opportune and brought in as many runs. This victory augurs well for the future of the team, as St. George's has been defeated only once, by the Brown Freshman team.

The score by innings is as follows; Innings,  1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9 R.  H.  E. Freshmen,  2  0  0  1  1  0  0  2  0--6  6  1 St. George,  0  0  0  2  0  0  0  0  0--2  7  2
