The University baseball team will meet Bates on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 4 o'clock in the first game of the week. Felton will go in the box for Harvard today. He has pitched masterly ball in most of his games this season, and he should hold the Bates batters to a low score. Behind him will be a team of fielders who have shown at times the disappointing weakness of erring at critical points in the game. Yesterday, however, the squad had a promising workout in the Cage and made few errors. Although the hitting was weak against Colby's crack pitcher Saturday, the team has shown in previous games that it can hit hard in the pinches. Today an encouraging improvement is expected.
