The University second baseball team was defeated Saturday by the Worcester team of the New England League. The winners bunched their hits, and helped by errors, got 10 runs from 10 hits, while the second team only got three runs from seven hits. Alsop's catch in left field was the feature play of the game. President Birkhead of the Worcester team umpired for seven innings and then played first base.
