The University lacrosse team will open the home season with a game against Stevens on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 3 o'clock. This will be the only league game played in Cambridge. Tickets at the gate will be fifty cents, but holders of H. A. A. tickets will be admitted free.

The University team is in good condition for the game, and has developed well as a result of practice since the southern trip. Stevens was defeated recently 11 to 0 by Johns Hopkins, which beat the University 8 to 3.
