NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Mr. Arthur Beane '11 has been appointed treasurer of the Union to succeed Mr. H. S. Thompson '99. The position is a very important one, as the treasurer has almost complete management of the building and employees. Mr. Thompson, who was forced to resign through the pressure of his business, has filled the position since June, 1902, and has continually devoted a great deal of his time and energy to it. His management has been most efficient, and has contributed very largely to the success of the Union among the undergraduates.
