NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The second University baseball team will play its first game of the season against the Lawrence team of the New England League on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Little can be said of the work of the team except that most of the men who will play are regular substitutes for the University team. Thus far the second team has not received very much attention, but from now on will play a regular schedule of games. Louis Pieper, for several years coach of the University team, is manager of the Lawrence nine.

The batting order will be: Dillon, 2b.; Halligan, c.f.; Milholland, 1b.; Curtis, c.f.; Alsop, l.f.; Phillips, s.s.; Tomes, 3b.; Weatherhead, c.; Hardy, p.

Freshmen Also to Play.

The Freshman baseball team will play Brookline High School on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock this afternoon in the first scheduled game of the season. The batting order will probably be; Fripp, c.f.; Heyer, s.s.; Mahan, l.f.; Nash, 1b.; Edwin, 2b.; Clark, r.f.; Richardson, c.; Demelman or Simons, 3b.; Whitney, p.
