Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
For the last two weeks, the weather conditions have made it impossible for the University soccer team to hold any regular practice, and consequently the progress has been slow and disappointing.
Only a few days now remain before Harvard meets Haverford, one of the strongest teams in the league, and at present, Harvard's team-work is decidedly ragged. Every effort, therefore, is now being made to get out a strong enough second team to give the Varsity stiff practice games every day, and it is sincerely hoped that all undergraduates who have ever before come out for soccer, or who are at all interested in the game will report at the Locker Building on Thursday at 3.30 sharp dressed to play.
Eleven men will be taken on the regular training table today, but this does not mean that the team has been definitely picked. There are several men on the second team who look very promising and will undoubtedly be very useful before the season is over, but there is still an immediate need of more substitute material and it is hoped that many more candidates will report on Thursday.
