TWO BEQUESTS TO UNIVERSITY

"Matchett Fund" Established and Securities Received Recently.

A bequest of $150,000 has been received by the University from the estate of Mrs. S. A. Matchett as a special fund to be called the "Matchett Fund," the income of which is to be used for the general purposes of the College.

George Haven Bequest.

Another bequest of securities valued at $22,879 and $2,876.52 in cash has been received from the estate of George Haven for scholarships to deserving students of the first year of the Medical School, the choice of the recipients of which will be made by the Faculty of the Medical School.
