Thirty Teaching Positions Open

Majority in Turkey and India.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A list of about thirty very desirable short-term teaching positions for Christians are open this summer to men who have completed a college course. Most of the positions are in Turkey and India, but they furnish a wide field of choice. The range of subjects is also large. The experience to be gained is one of the principal features of the work, as the teachers will be expected to take part in the social side of the student activities as well as the mere routine. The term of service varies from two to four years, according to the position, and the salary amounts to from $400 to $600 a year in addition to living quarters and travelling expenses to and from the field. In some cases board is provided in addition to a room. Appointments will be made by the authorities connected with the various schools, but full information in regard to the various fields may be obtained from Mr. W. B. Smith, 600 Lexington avenue, New York City.
