Eight members of the University will from an independent tennis team to play in the indoor match with the Seventh Regiment Tennis Club of New York, at New York, on Saturday, April 19. The match will consist of six singles and three doubles. The following men will compete, but not as members of a University team: J. J. Armstrong '14, J. C. Devereux '14, Captain A. J. Lowrey '13, J. S. Pfaffman '16, H. G. Smith '13, W. M. Washburn '15, R. N. Williams '16, E. H. Woods '14.

Owing to the poor condition of the courts and to the high winds, the University tennis players have had little opportunity for spring practice. There seems to be some unusually good material, however, and the team's prospects are bright.
