The Co-operative Society has purchased somewhat over 4000 square feet of land in the rear of the store and stretching back to Palmer street. A new building will not be constructed as the news papers have stated, but an addition will be built to the present store. More room is made necessary by the great increase in the Co-operative's business in the last few years.
