MAKING TOTAL OF OVER $9,000 FOR NEW GYMNASIUM. -- LAST DAY OF WEEK.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The results for the fifth day's contributions for the New Gymnasium Fund show an increase of about $1000. The Freshman class led for yesterday with $322, while the Juniors and Seniors nearly tied with $210 and $209 respectively. The Sophomore class still holds last place, getting only $139 yesterday. There is only today left before the total for the first week is figured out, and it rests with the collectors and men where each class shall finish. In the last few days, there have been several members of the University who have given $100 apiece. In view of this, the other members should at least contribute something.

The standing of the classes: Amounts Contributed  Percentage of Men Contributing 1916--$2817  1913--54 1914-- 2245  1914--41.5 1915-- 2037  1916--33.5 1913-- 1987  1915--31 Totals, $9086  Average, 40
