Professor Maxime Bocher '88, Professor of Mathematics at the University, has been selected as Exchange Professor with France by the Ministry of Public instruction of the French Government. His term of service, which is for 1913 14, will fall in the winter semester and will be spent at the University of Parig.
Professor Bocher obtained the degree of A.B. at the University in 1888, and that of Ph.D. at Goettingen in 1891. He was instructor in Mathematics from 1891 to 1894, and Assistant Professor of Mathematics from 1894 to 1904, when he became Professor of Mathematics.
