Oxford and Cambridge Universities have challenged the American universities to play a chess match by cable at Princeton, April 12, for possession of the Trophy Cup, and the challenge has been accepted. The Intercollegiate Committee voted that Winkleman '15 should play a preliminary competitive match with Beach of Yale for place on the American team. The other American universities which will be represented on the team are the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia, and Princeton.
