CREWS ON RIVER YESTERDAY

Three University and Two Freshman Crews Out Below the Bridge.--Work Rather Ragged:

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Three University crews and two Freshman crews were out on the river below the Boylston street bridge again yesterday afternoon. The work was very light, so that little can be said of the way in which they rowed. The general appearance was rather ragged. Goodale reported but did not take his place in the boat. Murray was in bow in the first University boat in place of Morgan, who has slightly injured one hand.

The orders:

University crew -- Stroke, Pirnie; 7, Reynolds; 6. Harwood; 5, Mills; 4, Trumbull; 3, Stratton; 2, G. von L. Meyer; bow, Murray; cox., C. T. Abeles.

Second University--Stroke, Chanler; 7, H. H. Meyer; 6, MacVicar; 5, Curtis; 4, Taylor; 3, Walker; 2, Cutler; bow, Carver; cox., A. T. Abeles.

First Freshman--Stroke, Wilson; 7, Soucy; 6, Boyer; 5, Shaw; 4, Parson; 3, Potter; 2, Morgan; bow, Jeffries; cox., Sargent.
