Of all that is going on today in the University, no event is of greater importance to Freshmen than their elections. Again, the system for Freshman nominations which was inaugurated last year has given satisfaction, and it stands as one of the splendid accomplishments of the Student Council. In Freshman, enthusiasm needs no stimulus, but today, at the beginning of their organized class life we urge the men of 1916 to maintain throughout an unselfish interest in the affairs of their class and to strive continually for class solidarity.
