The Freshman hockey team won a hard-fought game from Milton Academy at Milton yesterday afternoon by a score of 3 to 1. Although the Milton team showed more team-work than the 1916 team, yet the skating and individual playing of the Freshmen was much superior to that of their opponents. The game was close from start to finish, the final Freshman score coming in the last two minutes of play.

The Scoring.

The 1916 team made the only score of the first half after thirteen minutes of play when Curtis shot a goal from scrimmage. The Milton team played hard in the second half and a goal was scored by Trainer after one minute of play. The Freshman team, however, again went into the lead two minutes later when Doty shot a goal after a beautiful rush down the rink. Captain Wanamaker made the last score at the end of the game.

A. F. Doty '16 was the individual star of the game and made many brilliant

rushed besides playing a good defensive game. Captain Wanamaker and Ervin both played well. Trainer starred for Milton.
