Readers of that jargon of josh called the Lampoon are herewith notified that the hockey team representing the said slush-sheet will receive its just desert--the knock-out punch,--at the hands of the almighty CRIMSON hockey team (applause!) on the Stadium rink this afternoon at 4.15 o'clock. Despite the funny face now wet with tears, despite the resounding cracks between the bony knees of the irate Ibis, the invincible CRIMSON aggregation will cause the frozen H2O on the Stadium to gleam with the brilliance of their repeated shots into the cage so futilely guarded by the erstwhile happy artists of our nutty contemp.

Captain Batchelder, of the unconquered CRIMSON aggregation, announced last night that his seven had been in strict training for the past week at a Boston restaurant, every man denying himself even water during the arduous training season.

At a late hour last night, it was reported that friends may send flowers to the bereaved at 13 Mount Auburn street, in care of John. Only a short funeral service will be held.

In case the unsophisticated puckpunchers bearing the colors of purple and yellow (mostly the latter),--in case these fated funsters for once face the music and do not escape the vigilance of the championship CRIMSON team (huzzas!), the following will be the line-up: CRIMSON.  LAMPY. Walker, g.  g., Makepeace Smith, p.  p., Hale Batchelder, c.p., (Capt.)  c.p., Wentworth Nesbit, r.w.  r.w., Kettell Baker, (Hollister), r.  r. Crombie (Hollister) Bennett, l.w.  l.w., Herter Sub., Ad Infinitum  Sub., Ad Libitum
