NOTED REFORMER TO LECTURE

Mr. John Spargo will speak before the Socialist Club on "The Real Meaning of Socialism" in Emerson D this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock. The meeting will be open to members of the University only and a general discussion will take place after the lecture. In all matters of Socialism in this country, Mr. Spargo is a recognized authority. He has been affiliated with some of the most effective movements in carrying out the Socialistic theory and is the author of a number of books, among which are "Socialism, A Study and Interpretation," "The Socialists, What They Are and What They Stand For," "Forces That Make for Socialism in America," "The Religious Significance of Socialism," etc. His works on Karl Marx are considered among the best.
