To the Editors of the CRIMSON:
I want to emphasize the importance of men signing up immediately for scrub hockey. Last year a whole week of the best ice of the winter was lost because men neglected to sign up until after the Christmas vacation. The uncertainty of the weather makes it essential that the teams be organized before the vacation starts so they may avail themselves of the ice when it does come.
There are plenty of men who want to play scrub hockey and it is only lack of initiative which keeps them from getting their teams together now. In order to make the scrub hockey series a success this year, I trust that all men interested in hockey will either start a team of their own or will see that they are signed up with some other team before Friday. W. A. WILLETTS '14.
