The Board of Aldermen has referred the petition of the University to construct a tunnel from the Freshman dormitories to the Yard back to the Committee on Highways for the City of Cambridge. The committee will pass upon the petition again some time this week and it will probably come up before the Board of Aldermen for reconsideration next Tuesday evening.
