FOOTBALL SCHEDULE CHANGED

ATHLETIC COMMITTEE TRANSACTED INTERESTING ITEMS OF BUSINESS.

At the meeting of the Athletic Committee held last night a number of athletic schedules were approved and eighteen University football men besides the manager were formally awarded their "H". The members of the Freshman football team were also formally awarded their numerals, including R. H. Hitchcock who was prevented from playing in the Yale 1917 game on account of illness.

Football Dates Amended.

The football schedule was amended somewhat. Maine having found complications that prevented their playing on September 26, the game has been offered to Bates. The open date on October 3 has been offered to Springfield Training School, and October 10 has been settled upon for a game with Washington and Jefferson. The Michigan game has been finally arranged for October 31. The schedule now stands as follows:

September 26, Bates (offered).

October 3, Springfield Training School (offered).

October 10, Washington and Jefferson.

October 17, Tufts.

October 24, Pennsylvania State.

October 31, Michigan.

November 7, Princeton.

November 14, Brown.

November 21, Yale (at New Haven).

Fencing Schedule Announced.

The following schedule for the fencing team was approved:

February 6, Pennsylvania (at Philadelphia, Pa.)

February 7, Navy (at Annapolis).

February 13, Yale (at Cambridge).

February 20, Bowdoin (at Cambridge).

February 27, Columbia (at New York).

Juniors Who Were Awarded Numerals.

The following men who played on the Junior class football team have been awarded their 1915 numerals: O. I. Ames, P. T. Cate, H. Francke, T. J. D. Fuller D. C. Josephs, F. J. Little, R. G. McPhail, H. A. Murray, J. L. Priest, E. Reynolds, J. A. Richards, C. H. Russell (manager), L. L. Shropshire, C. M. Storey, H. S. Sturgis, J. C. Talbot, H. A. Vogel, P. B. Watson, H. M. Wright, and J. S. Zinsser.

University and Freshman hockey schedules, though almost complete, have not yet been approved.
