The second Senior smoker of the year will be held in the Living Room of the Union this evening at the stroke of 9. The announcement says that there will be movies, illustrated songs, and complete election returns. Every voting precinct will be thoroughly covered from Ward 8 to the Gold Coast and seniors who want to know who will guide their destinies through the maze of class day and the sorrows of Commencement will be able to get information hot from the wire at the Union this evening.
Even the movies show promise. One of the pictures will depict a few plays from a certain football game with a neighboring institution at the Stadium on November 22. Another will show the finish of the intercollegiate cross-country race at New York on the same day and should please particular people. The illustrated songs will be handled by various members of the University Glee Club, and the accompanying slides will give a vivid picture of every word sung. Nothing will be concealed and every man is expected to face the songs as he hears them.
We should Worry about New dances
Unfortunately Harvard seniors cannot enjoy the thrills of a senior prom as do our friends at New Haven. We can, however, imbibe the hope which always go with a senior gathering, and preparations have been made for a goodly supply of the refreshments which lay the foundations for senior democracy. Hence the duty lies with every member of the 1914 class to make this the brightest and breeziest gathering in history. The marshals will all be there to tell of future joys which the class will undoubtedly experience, and everybody should be on hand to welcome them. Remember the time, and the place, and the fun. Boys will be boys!
