Princeton Team a Revelation

New Haven, Conn., November 3, 1913. --The game last Saturday was a costly one for Yale, as Cornish sustained a fractured jaw which will keep him out of the game for the rest of the season. Cornish has been the mainstay of the team all year, and his loss will demoralize the offence, temporarily, at least. Wheeler, who played the position last year, has been selected to take Cornish's place at quarterback. Aside from Cornish's injury, the team came through the game in good shape.

Colgate took Yale by surprise with her fast plunging backfield, and the Yale line, weakened by the presence of many substitutes, was unable to withstand their attack. Yale's attack was slow and uncertain and was, except for the second period, during which flashes or brilliancy were shown, ineffective. Fumbling was the direct cause of two of Colgate's touchdowns. The ball was in Yale's territory most of the time. The team will be strengthened this week by the return of some of the regulars who have been on the injured list.
