The appointment of Samuel Morse Felton, Jr., '16, of Chicago as second assistant manager of the University crew has not been approved by the Student Council owing to the fact that the regulation passed by the Council last year has not been adhered to, namely, "that the competition for second assistant manager of the University crew shall extend at least half way through the regular rowing season." This means that the present crew competition must be run until the middle of April.
