JUNIOR ELEVEN WINS TITLE

Football Team Victorious Over Freshmen by 14 to 0 Score.--Playing of Francke Feature.

The strong Junior class team defeated the much lighter Freshman second team in the finals of the class championship football series yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field by the score of 14 to 0.

At all times the Freshmen showed their weakness as a team, although there were a number of individual stars. Chief among these might be mentioned D. G. Lovell, who played fullback, and excelled both in tackling and in carrying the ball.

Both touchdowns were made in the first period by H. Francke '15. The first came after a long run of 55 yards through a broken field and the second on a shorter run of 25 yards. Francke was easily the best and most consistent ground gainer on either team, while Lovell and Bradley captured the most ground for the Freshmen.
