The first two games of the class football series were played yesterday afternoon, resulting in victories for the Junior and the Second Freshman teams the former defeating the Seniors by the score of 6 to 0; while the Second Freshman team won over the Sophomores by the score of 7 to 0.

Both games were hotly contested, the Seniors seeming to have the advantage over the Juniors until a blocked punt in the fourth period brought the ball near their goal from where H. Francke '15 rushed it over for the only score of the game. Milholland '14 at quarterback played the best individual game for the Seniors.

The Sophomore team clearly outplayed the Second Freshman, but the only score came as the result of an intercepted forward pass and a long run for a touch-down by Lovell in an extra period. Twice the Sophomores rushed the ball to their opponents 5-yard line, only to be stopped by the more experienced Second Freshman line.

After the game the members of the victorious Junior class celebrated their victory with a snake dance, while the disheartened Seniors set up wails of "Bright College Years." In a speech to the frenzied throng before the Locker Building, Captain Hopkins of the Seniors, requested the cheering cohorts to desist, reminding them that the Junior team was their guest.

This afternoon at 4 o'clock the Juniors will play the Second Freshman team for the class championship.--Everyone must be dressed to play by 3.30.
