CROSS-COUNTRY RUNNERS OFF

TEAM TO CONTEST IN INTERCOLLEGIATE RUN LEAVES FOR NEW YORK.

The University cross-country team will leave for New York this afternoon at 5.33 0'clock to compete in the fifteenth annual intercollegiate race to be held there on Saturday. During its stay in New York, the team will make the Hotel McAlpin its headquarters. The race will be held at 3 0'clock on Saturday afternoon. The following eight men, seven regulars and a substitute, comprise the team: F. H. Blackman '14 Captain R. St. B. Boyd'14 A. R. Boynton '14 H. G. MacLure '15, W. A. Peckham'14, substitute C. Southworth '15, E. P. Stone '15, W. M. Tugman, Jr., 14. Managers C. G. Squibb '14 and J. Greenough '15 Coach Shrubb and rubber Smith will also accompany the team.

Freshmen in Andover Meet.

The Freshmen cross-country team will leave tomorrow at 11.50 0'clock to compete in the annual Andover invitation cross-country run at Andover Seven men will run, the first of which to finish will score. The run will be held at 2.30 0'clock. The following men will make the trip: A. R. Bancroft, H. R. Bechtel, H. S. Boyd, R. S. Cook, C. J. North, R. C. Paine, J. H. Townsend, (substitute), W. P. Whitehouse.
