Mr. Alfred Noyes's series of Lowell Institute lectures on "The Sea in English Poetry" proved so popular at its opening last Monday that it has been arranged to repeat the course, beginning next Monday, and continuing for four weeks on Monday and Thursday afternoons at 4 o'clock. The first series is given also on Mondays and Thursdays at 8 o'clock, and began last Monday.

Admission to the lectures, which are delivered in Huntington Hall, 491 Boylston street, is free, but by ticket only. In order to secure a desirable seat, applications should be addressed as soon as possible to the Curator of the Lowell Institute, 491 Boylston street, Boston, accompanied by a stamped addressed envelope for each course to which ticket is desired.

Dr. Charles H. Higgins, of Ottawa will lecture on "Protection of Animals from Infective Diseases" at the Medical School. Longwood avenue, Boston, to morrow afternoon at 4 o'clock. The doors close at five minutes after the hour. No tickets are required.
