Tennis Court Regulations

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

For the benefit of new members of the University the CRIMSON publishes the conditions under which the University tennis courts may be used. There are almost sixty courts connected with the University, of which about thirty-five are on Jarvis Field, behind Pierce Hall, seven on Holmes Field, behind Langdell Hall, and the rest on Soldiers Field. Courts may be engaged for an hour, at the end of which they may be re-engaged for half an hour. A charge of ten cents an hour for each player is made for the use of the courts, but members of the University may obtain twenty-hour tickets from the keeper at Jarvis Field for $1.50. Three courts at Jarvis Field are reserved for the University team. These courts may be used by other persons, but must be given up when wanted by members of the team.
