ELABORATE DEBATING PLANS

Committees Appointed and Schedule Announced.--To Publish History.

At the meeting of the Debating Council in Upper Dane yesterday afternoon, the following committees were appointed: Committee on Interclass Debates, H. B. Goodfriend '14 and B. E. Carter '16. Committee for Freshman Debating Society, M. Suravitz 2L., F. F. Greenman 1L., and P. L. Sayre '16. Committee to look up the present standing of former University debaters and make out a report, H. Epstein '16 and A. N. Levin '14.

The Debating Council will publish a history of debating at Harvard this fall, giving the members of the team and the alternates, the judges, the question and the decision of the debates with Yale since they were first started in 1892.

The interclass debates will be started as soon as possible after the November hour examinations. The questions will be given out shortly.

Schedule of Debates.

The schedule of 1913-14 follows.

Oct. 14.--Organization of Freshman Debating Society.

Nov. 12.--Interclass debates begin.

Dec. 15.--Pasteur Medal Debate.

March.--Triangular debate with Yale and Princeton.

May.--Freshman triangular debate.
