Captain Charles N. Snowden of the Yale university crew has been forced to resign, owing to the fact that he will be ineligible to row in the Harvard regatta next June. The cause of his ineligibility is the fact that he will have completed his college work about mid-years.

Thomas B. Denegre, of New Orleans, who rowed bow in last year's shell, has been elected captain in his place.
