At a recent meeting of the Freshman Debating Society the following officers were elected for the year: John Russell, Jr., of Plymouth, president; Edward Forbes Smiley, of Winchester, vice-president; Albert Edwin Whittemore, of South Hadley, secretary; Alan Paine, of Brookline, treasurer. These officers, together with Julien Spitz, of Brookline, will form the executive committee.
