Professor Bliss Perry, of the Department of English, will deliver a series of six free public lectures on "American Traits in American Literature," under the auspices of the Lowell Institute, in Humington Hall, 491 Boylston street, Boston, at 5 o'clock on Mondays and Thursdays during this month.
The dates and titles of the lectures will be as follows:
January 8.--"Race, Nation, and Book."
January 11.--"The American Mind."
January 15.--"American Idealism."
January 18.--"Romance and Reaction."
January 22.--"Humor and Satire."
January 25.--"Individualism and Fellowship."
