PHI BETA KAPPA.

The summary of the purposes of Phi Beta Kappa and of its requirements for membership, printed elsewhere, is not a call for candidates; it is merely an out line of a society for which men of the right sort do not have to be called out. Nevertheless, Phi Beta Kappa is worthy of the most serious thought of every underclassman. In thinking of it each man should remember that of all undergraduate honors the only one that increases with time is election to an honorary society of scholars.
