NO CROSS-COUNTRY WITH TECH.

Race Scheduled for Today Cancelled.--Time Trials in Belmont Today.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Owing to the fact that satisfactory arrangements could not be made, the cross-country race scheduled with Technology today has been cancelled. This means that the first real test of the team's strength will be on November 1, when it meets Cornell on the Belmont course. The trials by which the team against Cornell will be picked take place this afternoon in Belmont, the first ten men to cross the line composing the team.

The Freshmen will race Arlington over the latter's course tomorrow afternoon. Both the University and Freshman squads are expected to enter the three-mile event in the handicap meet held in the Stadium Friday.
