The lacrosse team will play its first game of the fall season on Monday, Columbus Day, against the Boston Lacrosse Club on Soldiers Field at 2 o'clock.
The Boston Club is composed of old Harvard men and a number of last year's championship team are in the University line-up, which will be as follows: Clare, g.; Birch, p.; Rossback, c.p.; Catton, 1d.; Harrington, 2d.; Nash, 3d.; Vinal, c.; Nightingale, 3a.; Brundage (captain) 2a.; Eaton, 1a.; Fleming, o.h.; Abbe, i.h.
Beginning with next Wednesday, the squad will be divided into four teams to play a round robin. The winners will receive individual cups. All men who wish to get some experience in the fall practice should come out.
There will be a meeting of the Intercollegiate Lacrosse League in New York on Saturday, October 18, at which the University will be represented by Manager A. H. Onthank '14 and C. E. Marsters '07.
