FRESHMEN MEET DEAN ACADEMY

Team is Well Prepared for Contest on Soldiers Field at 3 o'clock.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman football team will play Dean Academy this afternoon on the Freshman field at 3 o'clock, and should have more of a test than Groton gave them on Wednesday. On Thursday there was a short scrimmage with the second University team in which the heavy Freshman line held their opponents scoreless, while the team made a touchdown in straight line plays.

Yesterday's practice was comparatively light. Dummy tackling, kicking and signal practice occupied the afternoon, there being no scrimmage.
