A meeting for the purpose of organizing an Undergraduates' Economics Society will be held in the Trophy Room of the Union next Wednesday evening at 8.15 o'clock. The formation of such a body has received the endorsement of a number of the Faculty, among them Professor Taussig; and a canvass of students shows that undergraduate opinion is in favor of it.
According to tentative plans, the society will hold meetings every two weeks, at which there will be speeches, debates, informal discussions, and occasionally talks by more prominent authorities. These will be varied from time to time by activities of a more social nature.
The society should prove of value to all those interested in economic problems, nad of especial benefit to students in the elementary courses. All undergraduates concerned with the study of economics are invited to attend the meeting on Wednesday.
