To the Editors of the CRIMSON:
A good deal has been said about the welding influence of the Senior dormitories and the very important influence which they play in a man's last year at College. At the last 1914 smoker President Lowell, Lothrop Withington, and Percy Wendell all expressed in emphatic words just what the benefits of entering the Yard for the Senior year are. These men spoke in an attempt to crystallize opinion and so strengthen action, but much depends upon the spirit in which their words have been received. I firmly believe that the present strength of 1913 is almost entirely due to the fact that such a large majority of the class are in the Yard, and I personally feel that 1914 can go one step further and fill Matthews and possibly Weld.
