FAST HOCKEY PRACTICE

First and Second Sevens Played to a Tie. Team-Work Improved.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A twenty-minute scrimmage between the first and second University hockey teams was the principal event of the practice yesterday. The result was a 1 to 1 tie. The University team felt the absence of Sortwell, who has left Cambridge for a few days.

Both of the scores were made when the puck rebounded from close scrimmages. Palmer made the first goal for the University team and Smart scored for the second team. Both teams showed considerable improvement, the second displaying team-work which at times was a close match to that of the Varsity seven. UNIVERSITY.  SECOND.
