The Freshman hockey team held practice in the Stadium rink yesterday afternoon. Preliminary work consisted of the forwards playing in pairs against the regular defence. This was followed by a hard scrimmage against the substitutes, which lasted for 30 minutes. By superior team-work the regulars were able to defeat their opponents by 3 goals to 1.
The first team line-up was as follows: l.e., Tapping; l.c., de Windt; r.c., Phillips; r.e., Winsor; c.p., Claflin; p., Handy; g, Washburn.
