8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
The University hockey team held practice in the Arena yesterday afternoon, consisting chiefly of a drill of the forwards against the defence. This was followed by a 15-minute scrimmage, in which the second team defeated the first by 2 goals to 1. The first team men showed less team-play than their opponents, who succeeded in executing a number of good passes. Sortwell scored for the regulars, while Morgan and Hanson tallied for the seconds, each time from a mass play before the goal.
The first team has shown great improvement, due to the consistent drilling during the past week. The defence has been somewhat weakened by the temporary loss of Claflin, but Goodale has done well in his place. The greatest gain has been made in the development of team work among the forwards, which was very apparent in the Princeton game Wednesday evening.
There will be no regular practice for the team until Monday evening, when they will meet the Massachusetts Agricultural College at the Arena at 8.15 o'clock.
