Professor Edward Scribner Ames, D.D., of the University of Chicago, will conduct the 11 o'clock service in Appleton Chapel tomorrow morning. He will preach next Sunday as well, and will conduct morning prayers during the next two weeks.
Dr. Ames graduated from Drake University in 1889 and after receiving a B.D. degree from the Yale Divinity School studied at the University of Chicago. He was an instructor in this institution for two years, in 1897 being made Professor of Philosophy at Butler College, Indianapolis. Dr. Ames is now Professor of Philosophy at the University of Chicago and pastor of the Hyde Park Church.
