Those who have sat and read and writhed in its swivel seats, or waited while its alleged contents were sought form the cellar of Appleton or the garret of Conant, will pause to breathe the respectful sigh due its venerable three quarters of a century of existence. And thus passes Gothic Gore, former abode of ecumenic erudition and draughty discomfort.
