A report which was circulated by the press yesterday morning to the effect that William Phillips '00 had resigned his position as Secretary to the British Legation to accept the office of Secretary to the Corporation of the University has been officially denied by University officials. Whatever change Mr. Phillips may have made in his relations with the government, it has nothing to do with the affairs of the University.
