UNION WILL OPEN MONDAY

For First Week to all Members of University for Inspection. -- Plans for Season.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Beginning on Monday morning the Union will be open for inspection to all members of the University for one week, after which time it will be closed to those not holding membership tickets. Applications for these are now being received at Leavitt & Peirce's, the main store of the Co-operative Society, and the Union Office. The annual dues for active membership are ten (10) dollars, which are chargeable on the February term bill.

Officers and former members of the University residing within 25 miles of Cambridge may become associate members upon the payment of the annual dues in advance. Associate members are not permitted to vote at the election of Union officers; otherwise their privileges are the same as those of the active members.

Dining Room Accommodations.

The same plan as last year will be followed in accommodating men who wish to dine at the Union. Regular board will be offered in the Training Table Room at $7.50 per week instead of at $7, as formerly; and members of the Union who desire may start tables there. Table d'hote and a la carte meals will be served in the large Dining Room as usual. The first meal served will be breakfast Monday at 7.30 o'clock. Men who sign on must do so by the week and give two days' notice of intention to discontinue.

Meals in the large Dining Room will be served at the following hours: breakfast, 7.30 A. M. to 12 M.; luncheon, 12 M. to 2 P. M.; dinner 6 to 8 P. M. Light refreshments may be obtained through the bell-boys from 12 M. to 8 P. M.

Features in Plan of Entertainments.

The Governing Board of the Union has announced two striking departures in the plan of entertainment this year. There will be music in the Living Room regularly on Friday nights, affording an opportunity for informal gatherings; and in addition the Delta Upsilon, the Hasty Pudding Club, and the PI Eta Society have all agreed to give one performance each of their shows in the Living Room.

The program which has proved so successful in previous years will be followed as well.
