Professor Santayana to Leave

The resignation of Professor George Santayana '86, of the Philosophy Department took effect on the first of this September, and he intends to return to Spain and hereafter make his residence there. Professor Santayana was graduated from the University in 1886, and received the degrees of A.M. and Ph.D. in 1889. Since that time he has been connected with the Department of Philosophy here; until 1898 as an instructor, from 1898-1907 as assistant professor, and from 1907 until this year as full professor.
