WINNER OF LOW HURDLES IN YALE MEET CHOSEN TO LEAD TEAM NEXT YEAR.

John Brennan Cummings '13, of Fall River, was chosen by the members of the University track team, who have won their letter, to captain the track team next year. Cummings prepared for College at Durfee High School, Fall River, and at Stone School.

He won his "H" last year in the dual meet with Yale, when he won second place in both the 120-yards high hurdles and in the 220-yards low hurdle race. In the intercollegiates last year he secured third place in the 220-yards low hurdles.

This year besides taking part in the indoor work of the early season, Cummings won the low hurdles in the Yale meet and got second place in the high hurdles.

Track "H" Awarded.

The University track "H" was voted to Walter Hunt Fernald, of Waverley; Boyd Nelson Jones, of Newburyport; and Walter Homer Lacey, of Wollaston, all of the Senior class.
