Durfee High School lost to the Harvard second team on Soldiers Field Saturday afternoon by the score of 4 to 0, largely because of the effective pitching of Hitchcock who allowed but one hit, striking out 16 of the opposing batters, and giving but two bases on balls. The game was much closer than any yet played by the second team, and was well contested throughout. The runs were the results of timely hits and good base-running, and the game taken as a whole was very satisfactory from the second team's point of view.
The line-ups: The alumni of Yale and Harvard, who are now in the Law School, will play a baseball game on Soldiers Field at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Dr. E. C. Wilm 1G., will deliver the second of the series of public lectures "The Metaphysics of Berson" in Emerson A, this evening at 8 o'clock.
